How do we treat it?

In TCM, the focus of premenstrual syndrome is to timprove the function of liver, then the ones of kidney and spleen. If the patient is also experiencing insomnia, headache, or swelling of the limbs, then we should tonify the liver and eliminate the Qi stagnation.

If the patient has severe headache before and during menstruation, or experiencing pain in their waist and knee, then we will clear the blood stagnation first.

If the patient has dizziness, headache, palpitations, and fatigue during menstruation or after menstruation, then the focus will be strengthen the blood first.

For the all, the TCM's target is to adjust the balance between the organs, let them work in their best situation. so you will be brought back to a wonderful felling, no pain no fatigue, full of energy.
